Victor Casares, MS, LPC-Associate

“I would be honored to work alongside you as we navigate whatever challenge brings you in! I will do my best to bring warmth, acceptance, genuineness, and a soft place to land. I look forward to sitting with you in your low moments as well as celebrating your successes!”

Victor Casares is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who received his Master of Science at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and is supervised by Elizabeth Barrientes, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S, Sandtray Certified Therapist, EMDR Trained. Victor works with adults and teens for primarily individual therapy and with older children for child-centered play therapy. Victor gravitates toward clients working through grief, children of divorce/separation, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating their relationship with food and their body.

Victor received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. It was also at A&M that he volunteered for the Texas A&M HelpLine for four years, providing a non-judgmental listening ear for callers. It was in this role that he felt a great sense of purpose listening to individuals share their stories and their troubles, and he cultivated a gentle, compassionate, person-centered approach to mental health.
