Salma Perez, MS, LPC-Associate

“What was once routine was now the perfect joy.” - Jon Foreman

Salma believes in rejoicing in the routine to navigate life’s challenges and get through each day. She champions her clients by guiding and supporting them through their personal journey of healing, hope, growth, and self-love with empathy, transparency, authenticity, and biblical foundations and truth. She cultivates an atmosphere of acceptance and growth by meeting you right where you are and is a dedicated therapist who fosters education, collaboration, and communication for productive emotional and psychological maturation. Salma is drawn to helping people navigate daily obstacles such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse, trauma, grief, and low self-esteem/worth. She yearns for individuals to feel empowered over their thoughts and recognize they are valued, cherished, purposed, seen, heard, and enough. Her empathic heart for people is rooted in her faith as she aspires to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:5, ESV). Salma desires to be a therapist that clients, regardless of gender, age, race, faith, beliefs, backgrounds, or circumstances, can go to and feel warm, welcomed, safe, and secure with.

When she is away from the office, Salma values and prioritizes a daily routine and family time to stay grounded. She maintains a healthy work-life balance with a good concert, cozy movie night, or memorable adventure with her dogs and family. She looks forward to being there for you and is eager to work with you!
