Jacqueline Garcia, MA, LPC-Associate, EMDR Trained

Jacqueline Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges and heal from difficult experiences. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including nonprofits, advocacy centers, schools, and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Jacqueline utilizes evidence-based approaches including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and play-based interventions. She also offers faith-based counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process. Jacqueline works collaboratively with clients to build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-esteem, and process difficult life experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has worked with diverse populations, including children and families affected by abuse and other significant life challenges. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care and creating a welcoming space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.

Jacqueline specializes in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation, life transitions, and family stressors. Her goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and build resilience.

Outside of the counseling room, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family and embraces her favorite role—being a mother. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring new places and experiences.
